“Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
~ Matthew 28:16-20
Crossroads Christian Church strives to be a body of believers that makes disciples who make disciples.
One primary way we encourage our body to engage discipleship is through our Sunday morning Bible classes. Studying the Scriptures is a practice that is a vital part of a healthy spiritual journey. Studying in community provides unique and invaluable opportunities to learn from fellow Christ-followers as you share one another’s perspectives and experiences. By participating in a Bible Class at Crossroads you will have the privilege of walking with your brothers and sisters in Christ as you explore the Bible together, encountering God and urging one another on toward faith and good works.

Discover Community Ministry
Another key component of the discipleship ministry at Crossroads is our Discover Community ministry. Discover Communities are intentional gatherings that are designed to help participants discover and act upon God’s word on a weekly basis. These communities will be utilizing the Discovery Bible Study Method, which is based on three simple principles:
(1) Discovery Learning: Discover Communities strive to allow people to move from consuming information to a place of pursuing truth and spiritual formation by deliberately acting upon Scripture.
(2) Formation Focused: As a Church, we believe that those who follow Christ are asked to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. These communities are designed to be a safe place where each member is given room to act upon the truths found in scripture as they walk in community with other Christ followers who are doing the exact same thing.
(3) Sharing and Multiplying: Because Discover Communities are designed to help people come into contact with God’s word, it is important that members of these communities are constantly striving to share their story and testimony with others. This enables Discover Communities to continue to grow and reach even more people with the good news of the gospel.
If you are looking for a community where you can explore and engage the deep truths of scripture and apply them to your life, Discover Communities are for you! If you would like to get involved with a Discover Community, please reach out to Daren at Daren@startlifeover.org.
